Two-piece set includes a ceramic strainer and and stand with flower petal design in relief. The strainer fits all available chahai, and rests in the stand when not in use. This setup creates an easy landing spot for the strainer (avoiding errant drips) in preparation for serving tea from the chahai. The strainer and stainless steel mesh are durable and easily maintained.
Tall Glass Chahai
Handled chahai with subtle curves and nearly a two-cup capacity.
13 cm (l) x 10 cm (h)
A companion piece to the true-white standard gaiwan, this handled chahai has a nice shape that allows it to do double duty as a large aroma cup.
11 cm (l) x 7.5 cm (h)
Double-walled glass chahai
Double-walled construction allows the chahai to be handled when full of hot tea and insulates to keep tea hot longer. Low profile is a good match with small teapots. Strainer available separately.
8.5 cm (l) x 6.5 cm (h)
Simple, handmade chahai. Mr. Su's work is featured in Taiwan's Yingge Pottery Museum. Please note that there is slight variation in shape from piece to piece.
