Oolong teas produced in Korea are collectively referred to as cheongcha. The leaves have been allowed to oxidize slightly before being pan-fried by hand in the style of the green teas. The grading convention also follows that of the green teas, thus both Woojeon green and Woojeon oolong teas are available. |

Woojeon Cheongcha 2010 Rich and expansive flavor, and very creamy compared to the Goryeo green teas from the same season. As is typical with this style of oolong, the character of the green leaves seems to be magnified by the oxidation process. Because of the delicacy of the leaves, this tea is best brewed with somewhat lower temperature water in the style of a green tea.  |

Tukseon Cheongcha Goryeo This tea is one grade up from the Woojeon Cheongcha, and is in the realm of "competition grade" teas. It is considerably milder than the Woojeon with a more expansive flavor. 70g quantities (two bags) are also packaged in a fancy paper box. |
