Traditional smoky aroma with a deep, multilayered flavor and sweet finish: Muzha tieguanyin in the classic style. This tea was a second place winner in the Muzha Winter Tieguanyin Competition, but I acquired some before the results were announced, so the price is quite reasonable.

Robust and smoky with good depth of flavor. An excellent value that provides a full tieguanyin experience.

Drier than the other recent batches, the flavor of this tea has a refined smokiness that lingers at the roof of the mouth. It is lighter than the "old-school" tieguanyin teas and very smooth--a new take on a traditionally-styled tea.
